2024 Mason Music Festival
November 9 and 10, 2024
Mason Music Festival offers students a wonderful opportunity to gain meaningful feedback and improve their skills in a positive and professional environment. The festival welcomes and encourages performers of all ages, levels, and instruments to showcase their talent and passion for music.

Festival Date
The 2024 Mason Music Festival will take place on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10. New this year, the event will also provide a masterclass to violin students with Dr. William Herzog, professor of violin at Northern Kentucky University.
Festival Details
- Performers may present up to two selections, totaling no more than eight minutes in duration. Performers should provide their own accompanists if their performances require one
- Each participant will receive a written evaluation and a certificate
- Categories are based on level and include early beginner, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and adult
- The fee to participate in the festival is $25 per performer, and registration is open now until October 13, 2024
- Piano, Guitar, and Voice: Saturday, November 9 with a general time frame from 3:00 to 7:00pm - Locations: Indian Springs Academy of Music and Cadence Hall at Piano Players
- Violin, Viola, and Cello: Sunday, November 10 from 1:00 to 5:00pm - Location: Cadence Hall at Piano Players
- Dr. Herzog's Violin Masterclass: Sunday, November 10, starting at 5:00pm - Location: Cadence Hall at Piano Players (this event is for violin students only and it is free of charge)
- Registration ends October 13, and space is limited
- Final performance times will be sent to teachers and students by October 20
Locations
The only dedicated festival of its kind in the Northern Cincinnati area, the 2024 Mason Music Festival will take place at two separate locations:
- Cadence Hall at Piano Players: conveniently located at 8479 Mason-Mongomery Road, Suite 1, in Mason, Ohio. The intimate and acoustically balanced environment of Cadence Hall provides optimal evaluation conditions for every musical style and instrument.
- Indian Springs Academy of Music: just about one mile from I-275, ISAM is located at 9690 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., West Chester, Ohio. The Academy's rooms and instruments are state-of-the-art.
Judges
Judges for Mason Music Festival are excellent musicians and music teachers who are trained and experienced in providing fair, balanced, and professional feedback that is in line with the standards of the performance world.
